A woman had gone into premature labor at her house and called 911 to get help. The negligence of the EMTs who responded directly to the call contributed to the baby’s death. The Rhode Island Department of Health has now suspended both EMT licenses.

Shawn Hoyle (August 1) and Jarrod Mart (August 3) responded to a 911 call about a woman who was in labor. The investigation revealed that the mother had already given birth to her baby and was still in the bathroom when they arrived. The umbilical cord was still intact and the baby was in the bathroom. Martin and Hoyle removed the umbilical chord and took the mother to the living room to care for her baby.

When they returned to the bathroom, they said the baby didn’t have a pulse and didn’t respond when they tapped his or her foot. They wrapped the baby in a towel, then put it in a biohazard bag.

The mother was able to be taken by ambulance to Landmark Medical Center with her baby still in the biohazard bags. The mother was taken to the emergency room. The baby was still in the biohazard bag. A doctor inquired about the child. The baby was retrieved by a charge nurse, hospital staff found a pulse and attempted resuscitation. Unfortunately, the baby died shortly after being rescued by a charge nurse.

Unfortunately, it is not common for infants to die in the toilet. Abortion staff routinely tell patients to go to the toilet to dispose of the babies that they have just delivered. An undercover video from Live Action 2013 shows an abortionist and counselor telling a young woman that she should use the toilet to have a baby if she becomes pregnant during a late-term abortion procedure.

Usually, mothers who leave their babies to die in a public toilet are arrested. Hoyle, Martin, and their EMT licenses were suspended, so it seems that there has not been any criminal investigation.

This is not the case of a woman who gave birth unintentionally after an abortion. Instead, it’s the story of a mother who called for help and wished to save her baby. Instead, the people who she trusted to help her baby died.
