Hopkins Park Community Garden Day is Sept. 10, from 9 a.m. until noon. Help the Community Garden by wearing closed-toed shoes. We will provide tools and gloves. Bring a dish to share with the group for lunch. Call 407-892-2511 for more information.
St. Cloud Parks and Recreation will host the Peghorn Pig Out 2022 presented by St. Live music, free barbeque and horseshoes, local vendors and exhibitors, blacksmith demonstration, nature trail, and free barbecue will all be part of this annual event. A kickoff meeting will be held for MOPS (Mothers Of Pre-Schoolers) today (Sept. 1) at Veterans Memorial Library St. Cloud Branch (810 13th St.). This is a chance for moms to get together, share resources and community, have fun, and grow as mothers. MOPS is an organization that promotes faith and is open to all mothers of children up to the age of 5. MOPS.org provides more information.
We don’t talk about Bruno! Movie at Lakefront is scheduled for September 10th at Lakefront Park, from 7-10 p.m. The movie which will be shown is Disney’s Encanto. Bring your chair, snacks and blanket — and your kids’ singing voices — and settle in for a free movie night. The movie starts just after sunset.
The St. Cloud Marina Banquet Hall will host an Open House from 5-7 PM on September 14th. The City of St. Cloud staff and event professionals are available to answer any questions you may have about the venue.
