Many loved the “Grease” actress, including her family and fans.
Newton-John was the only child of a ten-year-old engagement. She wanted to be blessed before her death.
The secret wedding of her daughter was officiated by the actress years ago in the Bahamas.
Olivia Newton-John was an outstanding superstar. She was able to manage her career and family life, without sacrificing one.
She was blessed with one child, Chloe Lattanzi. With whom she had a close relationship. Newton-John was indeed one of those superhumans that never let tragedy define their lives.
Multi-talented entertainer, who rose to fame following the musical “Grease,” starring John Travolta was diagnosed with cancer in 1992.
Despite the sad news, the starlet focused on creating a happier world. Her strategy included prioritizing her family and passionately advocating for cancer research.
She admitted in 2020 that cancer could have a detrimental effect on her positive thinking, but chose to choose an alternative. In her words:
“Cancer can take over your body and mind. It is something I try to avoid.”
This mindset helped her get through all the medication and other procedures. One of her many health issues was a partial mastectomy, chemotherapy and breast reconstruction.
Unfortunately, these factors did not stop the disease from spreading. Newton-John was diagnosed in 2020 with stage 4 metastatic cancer.
Newton-John maintained a sharp mind for three decades while championing educating the public using various techniques.
She shared her personal experiences with the public, including how she favored herbs and plants. The actress also became passionate about cancer research.
She founded the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness and Research Centre (Australia) in 2015. The center was in close collaboration with the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Research Institute and a local hospital.
Newton-John wanted to bring healing to the entire world through her programs, lifestyle and research. While she supported research, she also tried out alternative medications and hoped that they would be effective for everyone.
The fight against the disease was a passion of this Amazon, who gave over thirty years of her adult life to it. She wanted the world not to forget that she was powerless. She stated:
“I live beyond it. It is not what I love. I sing beyond it. That’s what I want for everyone.”
Unfortunately, she passed away at her ranch, in Southern California, on 8 August 2022. John Easterling was her husband. He shared a statement saying that many loved ones were surrounding the actress. He added:
“Olivia, a symbol for triumphs and hope for more than 30 years, has shared her journey with breast carcinoma.”
Fans were shocked by the news. Fans went online to pay respect to the hero actress, who gave her life for her family and for the greater good of the world.
Newton-John was loved by her husband, fans, but most importantly her only child, Chloe Lattanzi. She had married Matt Lattanzi. The celebrity’s long-term partner wanted her daughter to witness her wedding. It happened!

Lattanzi learned from her mother the talents and willingness to be committed. The younger songstress/professional dancer remained engaged to James Driskill for a decade before deciding to get married.
Lattanzi stunned her fans by sharing the news that her Grammy-winning husband had blessed her marriage a month after her mother’s passing.
During a song promo, she announced the big news, noting that her love story is not the standard. She added that they have been married in “spirit” since the moment they met.
“No Pain” singer admitted that their marriage was delayed due to “we’re just lazy”. He also mentioned that their future wedding was planned as a private affair with only their family.
Newton-John shared her feelings about her daughter’s 2019 wedding. She spoke highly of the couple and said that she couldn’t wait to be a grandmother.
Lattanzi shared that her Grammy-winning Grammy winner had blessed her marriage a month after her mother’s passing. The rare Instagram video, which was posted by the 36-year old Lattanzi shows the Bahamas wedding ceremony many years ago.
The short clip showed the couple in white, holding hands and exchanging vows on the sandy shores. Olivia, Olivia’s only relative, officiated in the ceremony. Lattanzi’s caption posted that she was grateful to Olivia for attending the intimate event. It read:
“This was one my most treasured moments. In the Bahamas, years ago, I asked my beautiful mama to marry me to an incredible man. “Thank you mama for everything.”
Fans were shocked to learn that the couple did not update the public about their marital status. However, many commenters left heartwarming comments on the clip and wished the happy couple a happy marriage.

Newton-John and Lattanzi were very close. Mother-daughter duo Lattanzi and Newton-John spent time together making music, and seemed to have a lot of trust in one another.
Lattanzi, who was the singer’s daughter, wrote a song and shared a clip of her performing behind the microphone after the tragic death.
The singer, however, refused to reveal the contents of the song. To keep the mystery alive, she probably muted the sound until it was released. Lattanzi keeps sharing pleasant memories of mother in more ways than one.
Sunday’s dancer stormed onto the internet, posting a number of never-before seen photos featuring her mother and daughter at the poolside.
The duo was adored by their fans who were in awe of their bond and complimented the cute photos. Newton-John’s passing is not the end of Newton-John’s story.
