Tarek El Moussa‘s wife, who is expecting their first child together, has been quite open with letting fans come along on her pregnancy journey, which she had previously described as “an exciting time of her life.” Now, Heather has given another update on how her ‘bestie’s’ kids took the news of conceiving and who found out about it right after Tarek.
Heather Rae Young Shares Sweet Reaction Of Step Kids To Pregnancy
When news of the star’s pregnancy broke, fans flooded their posts with congratulatory messages. Since then, the entire family has been spending time together and cozying up.
The soon-to-be mom who shares two stepkids with her husband from his first marriage — Taylor, 12, and Brayden, 7 — recently posted to her Instagram page A picture of her and her stepdaughter.
The photo was taken in front of their stepmom, showing them sitting in a car’s back seat. Heather explained in the caption how Taylor stole her heart the day they met for the first time and how she “couldn’t have asked for a better response from Tay and Bray about our pregnancy.”
The little girl was the first to learn about her pregnancy, she said. The “Playboy Playmate of the Month” honoree told followers that while they were tucking Taylor into bed, she said she would like to be the first to know if they ended up having a baby. Heather wrote:
“So we had to tell her right then and there instead of surprising her and Bray together. I love this girl to pieces and can’t wait to see her be the best big sister to another baby brother.”
The fact that Taylor learned about Taylor’s pregnancy earlier than everyone else makes it easy to remember how her father first reacted when they got the memo. That was shared by The Blast Before sharing the news, the real estate specialist revealed her pregnancy with Tarek Al Moussa. He then surprised his followers by showing his reaction.
Heather posted the post to her Instagram, consisting of two videos as well as a photo. Page to her 2.8 Million followers. In the first video, the expectant mother handed her husband a box that he opened to discover pregnancy sticks.
He looked at his wife with shock asking if she was pregnant; when she nodded in the affirmative, he responded with a curse, “holy sh*t!” and then leaned in for a kiss and hug.
In the next slide, the “Love in Time of Monsters” actress gave a closer look at the box’s contents which included three test sticks and a cute bear gray onesie. The final clip shows her realizing she was pregnant, and how she tried to accept it.
Alongside the post, the reality tv star wrote, “Now that the secret’s out here comes the fun part.. story time.” She then explained that she was two days late on her period, and then her husband asked her to take a pregnancy test to be sure, but she blew it off.
After the “Flip or Flop” star left for work, Heather took a digital test but forgot to check it until much later when she discovered the positive test. She said that she was able to believe it after two more tests and that her husband started to be excited about the news.

The couple doesn’t mind sharing their love and intimate details about their lives on various social media platforms. According to The Blast One post worth mentioning is the one he wrote to his wife, whom in 2021 he married in an intimate open air ceremony.
The photos showed the proud father and pregnant mother in various places, with their hands close to each other in close embrace. The lengthy message started with “photo dump with our baby bump” and blue heart emojis.
The “Flipping 101” creator mentioned that the current pregnancy reminded him of when he learned he would be a dad for the first time. He shared that the news made his resolve to love his children unconditionally, and put his family before himself.
This new addition reinforced his feelings adding, “Tay, Bray, and Heather are my world, and bringing another baby El Moussa into the family makes me feel those feelings all over again. I’m lucky to have a baby boy with the woman of my dreams.”
Tarek concluded the sweet message with a note indicating that he knew Tarek would be a great father, as evident by her interactions with his children.
