MEMPHIS (TENN.) – A man was cleared of murdering a Cordova woman, who was pregnant in 2020.
Keierra McNeil was 32 years old, and was 6 months pregnant when she was killed. She was sitting in her car at Walgreen on Walnut Grove, at the time of her death.
McNeil’s family says Kevin McKinney was the father of the unborn child and continuously called to meet at Walgreens about co-parenting.
Investigators believed McKinney was the shooter, but according to the Shelby County District Attorney’s Office, there isn’t enough evidence to proceed with the charges.
The case will be investigated by the Memphis Police Department.
