MadameNoire launched its new digital series titled “Mompreneurs” today (Dec. 6). The show aims to dispel the stigmas surrounding Black working mothers and the daily balancing act they face. You can learn more about the series by watching the first episode.
Madame Noire is iONE Digital’s lifestyle, entertainment news, parenting and health tips platform specifically dedicated to Black women. Their latest digital series centers on motherhood and parenting.
“Mompreneurs” tackles different topics for the working, entrepreneurial mom, like how they manage to raise children and a six figure business at the same time. Today’s Madame Noire platform aired the first episode. The series is hosted by author, writer, lifestyle and entertainment expert Nancy Redd.
The series will feature Black mothers and entrepreneurs who will take center stage in this intimate 30-minute conversational series. They will share their stories about how they created wealth for their families while maintaining motherhood.
These moms are all new authors. They help their communities manage their finances and conduct virtual training sessions. Although they work in a variety of industries, one thing unites them all is the fact that they are working mothers who are changing what it means to be a mom. These women inspire the next generation to be successful mothers.
Guests include Evana Oli, Kim Hylton, Karlie Redd, Monyetta Shaw, Chantel Powell, Dr Rashae Barnes, Keshia Knight Pulliam and Toya Johnson.
New episodes of “Mompreneurs” will be released each Monday and are available to stream through all of MadameNoire’s digital platforms includingMadameNoire.com, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
