Hilary Swank shared her story of hiding her pregnancy during filming for her late-night show, “Alaska Daily.”
Swank, who has been married to Philip Schneider for over a year, will give birth to twins within the next months. Swank revealed to James Gorden during an appearance on “The Late Late Show,” how she kept her pregnancy secret from crew and cast members during her first trimester.
Gorden was told by the actress that it takes two hours to do just one or two minutes on screen. “They want it from this angle, this angle…. You’ll run for two hours. I was like, “Oh my God.” I’m pregnant. I cannot tell anyone.
Swank explained to the crew that she wasn’t a great runner and needed a stunt double in order to film the running or active scenes.

“They were all like that, all of them like, ‘Huh! You? What? What? Swank claimed. Swank claimed.
Swank had to convince her crew that she needed a double stunt by showing off her running skills.
“I was like, ‘OK, how do you look like a really bad runner?’” She recalled. “I am not a good runner. I thought I had to sell it so I could get my double stunt. The men ran after me, and they all looked at one another and said, ‘Yeah! You need a double stunt.’

“They were like, “Why are you running so flatfooted?” The actress won the award for best supporting actress. I was like, “Don’t criticize me.” “Just get me a stunt double.
Swank revealed her pregnancy in October 2022.
