WASHINGTON, D.C.—The Daily Signal reporters and staffers from The Heritage Foundation are on the ground for the 50th annual March for Life, and they’re sending in some of the best signs from the first march to take place since the Supreme Court overturned its infamous 1973 Roe v. Wade decision last June. The Heritage Foundation’s news outlet is The Daily Signal.
Americans across the country traveled to the nation’s capital to register their protest of the killingThousands of children have been killed by the abortion industry. The Supreme Court has ruled that Roe was invalid and that the Constitution does not enshrine a right for abortion. This opens the issue up to regulation in 50 states. However, protesters are demanding that Congress limit or eliminate the intentional killings of babies in the womb.
The House of Representatives approved a bill last week to save the lives of babies who were born through botched abortions. Only one Democrat, Rep. Henry Cuellar of Texas voted for it.
All but three Democrats voted against a resolution condemning the attacks on at least 78 pro-life groups and 108 churches since the leak in early May of the draft opinion in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, the Supreme Court decision overruling Roe.
Here are some of the best signs from Friday’s march.
