Tammy Slaton, 1000-lb Sisters star, has shared adorable throwback photos of her childhood with fans.
Tammy Slaton admits she “was always fat” because her mother had to buy her adult clothes at two years old.
The star of 1000-lb Sisters at 36 has finally reached her goal weight. She was delighted to discover that she had been approved by the FDA for life-changing weight-loss surgery.
Tammy now admits that life has “thrown me some obstacles”. She shared rare glimpses into her childhood with fans and shared photos of her as a youngster.
Tammy spoke on 1000-lb Sisters and said that “Life threw some obstacles at me, the Lord knows that.”
Then she shared an adorable photo of herself as a child, with long curly hair and white T-shirts with her name on them.
She said, “I was always large, I was huge from birth. Mom says that she used to have to buy adult clothing for me when I was about two or three.
“Like, that would trim the pants. And just continued. Then it became a food obsession.
She claimed that the “devil” attempted to take her out. But she overcame all obstacles to get where she needed to be.
Tammy Slaton, her sister Amy Slaton, often blame their childhood and Darlene Slaton for their weight problems.
According to the sisters Darlene, Darlene couldn’t be with them because she was too busy working.
The sisters were left to their fate after their grandmother died.
Tammy has made great progress on her weight loss journey. She was overcome with emotion when she revealed to her family that she had qualified for gastric bypass surgery.
Tammy called her family on Facetime and shared the good news with them in a clip.
“Dr. Smith gave his initials and approved my motherf***ing surgery,” she said.
Chris Slaton, her brother, said it was the most exciting news he had heard all year. Amy then congratulated Amy.
Amy later spoke out about her pride in her sister’s accomplishments.

“After her past failures I didn’t believe she could do it. Amy confessed to the camera that she had proved me wrong in a confessional.
“I hope she doesn’t feel left behind. Because she’s probably going to exceed my a** and I’m grateful for it. She can do it, and I’m not going to hold her responsible.
“We’re just gonna go from 1000 pound sisters to sexy sisters, b*****s.”
