NEW YORK – September 12: Moneybagg Yo attends 2021 MTV Video Music Awards at Barclays Center, September 12, 2021 in Brooklyn.
Moneybagg Yo addressed rumors that he was cheating on Ari Fletcher. Rumors arose from an alleged sextap being shared across social networks.
“Mane stop mentioning me in this picture of somebody getting f—– y’all ppl WIERD bra my whole body tatted s— not me!” the Memphis rapper wrote in a since-deleted Monday (Feb. 27) tweet. He followed up with, “People be Slow internet dry y’all need some attention.”
He also added a second tweet, “U lame a– n—– be ready for me to f— up.”
Ari seemingly addressed the rumors as well by posting a photo of herself on her Instagram Story using GloRilla’s single “Internet Trolls.” Notably, her post features the lyrics, “Fake it ’til you make it, that’s the internet code / Watch out for them internet trolls / They be tryna satisfy them internet goals.”
The video in question was shared on Monday with the caption, “[money bag emoji] yo got caught slipping on Finsta.”
“He cheated on her last night with a stripper in New York @ Starlets,” they wrote which was captured in a screenshot by @gossipofthecitytea on Instagram. “She recorded them f——. I’m limited to what I can post regarding this situation. I will post more in the private Twitter for those that are in there.”
Moneybagg Yo has cleared the rumor. However, he’s been busy in the studio. He released “On Wat U On” with GloRilla last month a follow-up to his December 2022 release of “Quickie.”
