The actress stated that it was hard for her to balance motherhood and her career. It was emotionally draining for her, more than the physical. Mom guilt is real. News18 spoke to her about how it breaks her heart each morning that she has to leave her little baby and head to work. However, she explained that she loves what she does and her baby will soon learn the importance and value of work.
Kajal stated that she had to cancel one movie after finding out she was pregnant. Kajal stated that even though she was busy during pregnancy, she felt anxious about the fact that her primary job was to be in front a camera. After giving birth, Kajal returned to work in the second month and enjoyed horse riding and martial arts as well as action scenes on a harness. She also mentioned that her baby was always with her to all of the shoots.
Kajal recalled how people used to tell him that she wouldn’t be capable of managing all the things after having a child. Evidently, I had a full-fledged child within me. But that’s how they (trolls) are. It’s best to ignore it.
Kajal played a double role in Ghosty’s horror comedy Ghosty. She is currently filming Indian 2 with Kamal Haasan, where she will reportedly play an elderly woman.
