Prior to publishing a birth notice, verification of paternity is required. Jacksonville Memorial Hospital will provide this information to the paper for those families completing the hospital’s Newborn Newspaper/Radio Release Form and submitting it through the hospital. Families must verify births in all other hospitals. It is acceptable to use a copy of the hospital birth record.
• Morgan Coker and Corbin Fairfield of Jacksonville became the parents of a son, Cyrus Ross Fairfield, on March 27 at Jacksonville Memorial Hospital. He weighed 6 pounds, 5 ounces. Jennifer and Keith McNeece are the maternal grandparents. Gabe Fairfield, Modesto; and Shannon and Abe Wiser, Pisgah are the paternal grandparents.
• Ashley Richardson and Devin Shanks of Jacksonville became the parents of a daughter, Rosalie Lynnette Shanks, at 2:44 p.m. March 29 at Jacksonville Memorial Hospital.
• Kayla and Black West of Murrayville became the parents of a son, Whitley Blake West, at 12:49 p.m. April 4 at Jacksonville Memorial Hospital. He weighed 6 pounds, 10 ounces. Steve Anders, Debi Anders, and their children live in Murrayville. Bill West and Rona East of Murrayville are paternal grandmothers.
• Samantha and Cody Kitselman of Murrayville became the parents of a son, Jaxtyn Richard Kitselman, at 1:40 p.m. April 4 at Jacksonville Memorial Hospital. He weighed 6 pounds, 6 ounces. Richard and Penny Mitchell, of Murrayville, are the maternal grandparents. John Kitselman, Murrayville is the paternal grandmother.
• Selena Douglas and Brandon Williams of Roodhouse became the parents of a son at Jacksonville Memorial Hospital. Melissa Piper from Jerseyville and Anthony Piper are the grandparents of the mother. Dan Williams of Roodhouse and Rebecca Jilg, the paternal grandmothers are from Jerseyville.
