Joy-Anna Duggar spoke out about her “insane” hormones as she prepares to have baby number 3.
The 25-year-old star of 19 Kids and counting took to YouTube to share her experience as she prepared for her 33 week checkup.
She was’super emotional,’ she said, during her third pregnancy. However, she is still’really excited’ to see the baby.
Joy-Anna and husband Austin Forsyth, 29, who married in 2017, already share five-year-old son Gideon and two-year-old daughter Evelyn.
Speaking about her pregnancy, she began: ‘I’m so excited.
I cannot believe that we are only two weeks from finding out the results. [induction] date and then from there, s*** we’ll only be three weeks away from having the baby. It’s getting real, it’s getting close.’
‘I felt like I was prepared and didn’t worry at all. But now that the event is so close, my hormones are raging.
The former TLC actress from Arkansas said: “I’ve felt super emotional about all of it.”
‘I’m not really nervous about having another baby, but all of the unknowns — like the what ifs and whatever.
I’m afraid if I dwell on it for too long, then it becomes “Okay, so what if this or that?” So, I’m just going to have to trust the Lord to make everything okay.
I have a wonderful doctor and an amazing support team. I am so excited to finally meet my little boy.
The couple announced their pregnancy for the first time in October 2022, with an Instagram post saying: “Baby number three is on its way!”
They also posted a 13-minute video on YouTube showing the former Counting On host’s jaw dropping as she removed the test to reveal the results.
The recording shows the expecting mother saying, ‘We’ve been trying and we’re ready for number three.’
Or baby numbers three and four’, her spouse said.
Wouldn’t it be cool? Duggar said rhetorically, before saying: “We’re in a great spot right now.”
We love our family and are ready to grow, so we really, really hope that we become pregnant. It would be awesome if there were twins. It would be great.
Joy-Anna revealed in July of 2019 that she had suffered a tragic miscarriage.
She took to Instagram with a heartbreaking post at the time that read: ‘Today marks one week since we heard these words… “so this is your baby’s heart (pointing to the ultrasound screen). I can’t hear or see a heartbeat.
‘We went in for the 20-week scan and gender reveal. It was a little girl.
Joy-Anna said that she and Austin had already picked out a name – Annabell Elise.
She said: “Annabell is the name of God’s favoritism for me, and Elise is God’s satisfaction.”
It’s a beautiful thing to know that the first thing our daughter saw when she opened her eyes was Jesus’ face.
