NETFLIX’s Selling Sunset will return in May 2023 for a drama-filled six season.

Who is Maya Vander?
Maya Vander was a former Netflix star and real estate agent.
She lived in Israel, the Netherlands and Spain before moving to Los Angeles, and now Miami.
According to LinkedIn, the 39-year old has been working at the Oppenheim Group Los Angeles since February 2015. She still maintains her relationship with the realty brokerage despite leaving in 2022.
Vander is an entrepreneur who has also worked at Douglas Elliman Real Estate in Miami and Los Angeles.
Why did Maya Vander quit Selling Sunset?
Vander will be establishing The Maya Vander Group to be nearer to her Miami family.
In June 2022 she decided to officially leave Selling Sunset.
“I made the difficult decision to leave the show. It was a tough choice.” It is an absolute honor to be a part of a hit show like this and I’m so grateful! At the time, she posted a story on Instagram.
“Losing a baby at 38 weeks following a miscarriage is just too much to handle,” Vander added. “I want to be at home with my husband, and the beautiful children who I adore.”

Vander had been part of Selling Sunset from its inception in 2019, but she felt that her travels between the West Coast an East Coast were taking away too much family time.
Who is Maya’s husband?
Maya likes to keep her relationship with her husband seemingly private on social media, as she addresses him as “my husband” in her posts.
It is not clear what his real name is. His friends and colleagues refer to him as Dave.
They had a relationship that was long-distance before they got married.
They both live in Miami, and they have two children.
How many children has Vander?
Vander revealed that she had previously miscarried and was having trouble getting pregnant.
Despite this, she fell pregnant during the first season and gave her first son Aiden in February 2019.
Maya’s baby boy made an appearance in season 2’s premiere episode.
Vander announced in May 2020 that she gave birth to her daughter, Elle Madison.
Vander, who had suffered a late-term loss in December 2021 as well as a miscarriage on June 2022, was nine months pregnant by May 2023.
Yesterday was the worst day of my entire life. I was 38 weeks pregnant when I gave birth to a stillborn baby. I always heard of it but never imagined I’ll be part of the statistics,” Vander wrote on Instagram in December.
“Instead of delivering a baby, I get to go home with a memory box… I do not wish this on anyone.”
“What started as a routine weekly check-up, turned into something I could never imagine happening to me,” added the woman.
“Given that I share my pregnancy in the show, I knew I’d have to post this and avoid the question of ‘when is you due date’. Mason, you will be forever in our hearts.”
When will season 6 of Selling sunset be available on Netflix?
Season 6 will premiere on Netflix in May 2023. It includes all 11 new episodes.
Fans can expect major drama – despite Christine Quinn’s exit from the show – as two new agents, Bre Tiesi and Nicole Young, arrive at the Oppenheim Group office.
